I don't really see much of this "insane stuff" you seem to see.
Yes, this looks great and all, but most of what you see is nowhere near the word "revolutionary".
In fact, the entire "AIP" requires a significant amount of real-time data that is often unavailable/unreliable.
Not to mention this entire scenario assumes that one has an
absolute advantage in the information plane and OPFOR is basically a bunch of goat herding villagers with AK47s with no ability to attack your assets.
The system would be great if you were attacking a significantly inferior enemy, but go against a peer army and the entire system fails rapidly as information networks are interrupted or destroyed.
War is messy.
