The most troublesome is they are discarding the two types, lol. Even if they worked to have two options, both are crap. A disgrace but they still got paid for it and for all the delay.

They are still building some but find ways to not put them in service easily, lol !

Posting it here as we don't have a AI military thread for the US

Insane stuff
I don't really see much of this "insane stuff" you seem to see.
Yes, this looks great and all, but most of what you see is nowhere near the word "revolutionary".
In fact, the entire "AIP" requires a significant amount of real-time data that is often unavailable/unreliable.
Not to mention this entire scenario assumes that one has an absolute advantage in the information plane and OPFOR is basically a bunch of goat herding villagers with AK47s with no ability to attack your assets.
The system would be great if you were attacking a significantly inferior enemy, but go against a peer army and the entire system fails rapidly as information networks are interrupted or destroyed.
War is messy.

Yeah, the AI plots a route so your unit can reach the target, and then it turns out the ground it picked is either unusable slush, or mined, and you do not have that information on your database. It isn't called the fog of war for nothing. This is one reason why military units are typically tasked with objectives instead of clearly delineated plans. And the military unit is responsible for meeting those objectives.
