As it stands right now, the US wants to have 200 NGAD with each NGAD having two loyal wingman drones (collaborative combat aircraft -CCA). Interesting as it seems the loyal wingman concept is very important to next gen for the USAF. I wonder if that will becoming the defining feature of "sixth-gen" aircraft?

The total CCA buy will be 1000 drone wingman to be used with the F-35 as well.

AI piloted drones look like the projected end of the ladder in air combat. We will see if electronic warfare will stop that progression or if it will define future warfare.

Is that the finished model or a fully function prototype or a mark up for the tabloids
I believe this is the flight test model, it is certainly not a mark-up\model. I believe at least six more are under production \ nearing completion as well.

According to this Defense One article, the USAF is looking to accelerate the production of aircraft. Specifically they state, “We will be acquiring aircraft in production at higher rates than previously planned.” So not sure which aircraft this pertains to. Could we see increases in F-35 and F-15 procurement? Could they be looking at purchasing new build F-16's. Or is this relating to aircraft outside of the fighter fleet?

Most likely it's been flying for some time now and the "first flight" event will be just a PR stunt.

B-21 also looks much smaller than B-2 but they it's angle doing trickery.

Agreed. There is no way they would tolerate the risk of the "first flight" failing or falling short in any way. They'll do a lot of secret flight tests in advance of the PR "first flight" event. Also agreed that it looks like angle trickery.
