I think there is a video showing a drone releasing a robotic dog.Could even drop them from drone or helicopter.

So could be used in suppressive fire role. Some renders from Kestrel Defense that shows the company's robotic dog mounting a QJS-161 machine gun. Kestrel Defense says the dog can carry 200 rounds of ammo in this configuration.
The endgame is an A.I controlled dog with a 10 watt laser that permanently blinds you with a millisecond exposure shot with aimbot precision from over 1km away, with a solar panel on it's back so it never runs out of ammo or energy. You could easily do that with today's technology.A laser pointer for artillery would be nice on these kind of system, they are low profile and can be left in place to just wait until targets present themselves. Sound/motion sensor could bring selfactivation and alarm for the operator. You just put some explosive on them to use if captured.
Could even drop them from drone or helicopter.

That sound like a walking war crime. Blinding lasers are banned. The endgame is an A.I controlled dog with a 10 watt laser that permanently blinds you with a millisecond exposure shot with aimbot precision from over 1km away, with a solar panel on it's back so it never runs out of ammo or energy. Only warcrime is losing the warThat sound like a walking war crime. Blinding lasers are banned.
That won't matter. Someone will build it. Actually using it in combat may be another thing but... let's just say that the nuking each other cities is also a massive warcrime but it has been done before and the world nuclear powers have nukes pointed at each other at all times for this purpose. That sound like a walking war crime. Blinding lasers are banned.
how did the QJB-201/QJS-161 naming confusion come to be? Is there only QJB-201 SAW, regardless of barrel length?QJB-201 is the name of the LMG, the name QJS-161 shouldn't really be in circulation anymore, unless the company themselves have used it (in which case that makes me even more skeptical towards them lol)
The point of the rules is that so both sides don't spam it. A much more efficient use of this tech if want to mass blind people with laser is just to mount it on a drone with a stabilised camera. Theres no need to build a robot dog for this since anything higher than 1W is already enough to cause permanent eye damage. People are naturally drawn to the noise of a drone so you don't even need to be that precise with aiming.Only warcrime is losing the war
One advantage of the dog is the option of slapping a small solar panel onto it. Infinite ammo. The point of the rules is that so both sides don't spam it. But if you have the tech to do this just strap a grenade to the UAV and skip all this robot dog nonsense.
