PLA actually exercise with robotic equipment impressive
Stupid question, have these Camo boots ever been spotted out in the field? They look pretty clean, better shape than the Robo-dog.This robot dog has some milage on him.
This robot dog can carry offensive payload. In addition to the previously seen grenade launchers, it's also designed to also carry a QBZ-95.
The main problem with MOUT is knowing where the enemies are. UGV can hold ground and draw enemy fire which exposes their locationsThe utility of legged or lightly armed UGV seems to be questionable at best, scouting or harassing fire seems a role much better filled by suicide flying drones, a competent pilot with FPV gear can recon a building much faster than any ground based drone, while also being quick enough that defenders will have little time to react if the goal is to blow up as a suicide drone. The same can't be said for armed UGVS as the few photos of the drones armed with type-95s just look clunky and inaccurate.
They are probably easier to control and stealthier as a minor advantage. On the logistic side UGV are definitely much more viable, but EW may degrade performance over long distances.
