How likely or possible do you think that if Zelensky decided to surrender and that he would get assassinated by his inner circle before his announcement is publicly release. Then they spin a Russian infiltration attack.
I think he will most likely negotiate a cease fire first and ask for Putin to let encircle Ukrainian forces to put down weapons and leave the encirclement march westward and regroup. If he can negotiate to retain nominal sovereignty of Ukraine with all her territorial integrity, in exchange for keeping the Russian troop out of Western Ukraine. And once the soldiers and the central government of Ukraine is preserved in western Ukraine, they will have the ability to get the whole country back in the future.

If he doesn't, the Russians will lay siege to Kiev, and kill the current Ukrainian government in the fighting, and they will install their own puppets who simple can't unite the whole country. Ukraine will then descent into a decentralized "Warring-State" state of affairs. The country would then be balkanized.

The Russia took their time to let Zelensky shine in this event. He is right now the real "King of Ukraine", at least in people's heart. In my opinion this is very sinister: to create a "savior", then kill him off. This is destroy the morale and unity of the Ukrainian people. Military command in different regions will simple claim their own territories when the Ukrainian leadership get killed in Kiev siege.

Right now, the Ukrainian military is in a decentralized state. The forces in Odessa area is simply sitting in their trenches, watching with apathy as Russian forces encircles the Forces in the east. This pretty much means that the Ukrainian army are only holding their basses, and not on the move as a mobile fighting force actively advancing in large formations against the Russians forces. They are simply willingly being kept apart to be swallowed up one after another.

Really? Because AFAIK, the Japanese army in China surrendered to the USA not ROC?

Read this:

"The Japanese army gave me the impression of being extremely tough and dangerous as indeed it had proved itself in battle," he wrote. "There is clearly no realisation of the extent of the disaster Japan has suffered. It regards itself, with some reason, as an undefeated army which, to its regret, has been ordered by the emperor to lay down its arms."

This bit is priceless!

"There were no planes, and the train service was still completely under Japanese control. At Nanjing railway station the trains were crammed with Japanese troops. The first-class compartment was occupied by a Japanese general and his mistress, who were not about to make way for a British general.
"I appeared to be faced with one of two unpleasant alternatives, either to beat a retreat with what dignity I could muster and so lose a great deal of face, or to attempt to have a compartment cleared of Japanese and so risk an unfortunate incident," he wrote.
In the end a third option was found. The Japanese ejected a group of Chinese from another carriage."
Grossly off topic! This thread is about the Russian war in Ukraine. Not about the Sino-Japanese war in WWII!

P.S. How dare you belittle the Chinese who have suffered at the hands of Imperial Japan in WWII! You have truly revealed yourself!
