You mean the oblast that has no land connections with the rest of Russia, making the deployment of such weapons an imposibility as you'd have to cross the territories/territorial waters of other countries who might not be ok with nuclear missiles being transported?

Yeah, impossible like back then on Cuba...

The words Russia and Drones don't go in the same sentence. But here is what Putin can do to reverse this and find immediate success on the battlefield.

We got the best drones for the best price in the world right now. We have all the variants that a customer may want with different configurations and weapons available depending on our customer's requirements.

We provide a flexible financing option and we also offer leasing options with only a small down-payment required. This has been proven to be popular for our customers which use weak currencies

Our drones also find worldwide success with many sales. They are "battle-proven" and fit the needs of our customers.

One of our biggest customers, Saudi Arabia has used them extensively on the Yemen war and they have been left extremely satisfied with our product

Call your local Chinese embassy for more info and exact pricing.

We wish you success on the battlefield
Regards,

Your local drone salesman

While your presentation is stellar, indicating excellent ambition, it is frowned upon that you would exploit present circumstances to usurp Yong Pengsuen’s position as Senior Salesman: Drone Division.

Edit:

While your creativity is, indeed, impressive, it was Yong Pengsuen’s initiative and persistence that brought Drones to the forefront of our endeavors, here!

Japan as a nuclear armed power?
Definitely not in China's interest.
If NPT goes out the window then so does everything else signed in the post WW2 era.

That wouldn't be just the end of the post Cold War globalization era, it would put the world back in imperialist times with no limit on interstate competition.

Does Japan realize the implications of what that means for them? in a might makes right world they aren't going to do too hot with their resource dependencies and inability to upgrade industry.

in fact cuban missile crisis is an almost exact analogue that shows exactly why putin did is fully justified in the same way that kennedy’d blockade of cuba was justified
Kennedy wasn't justified, either, given that the soviet deployment was a response to the US deploying Jupiter missiles in Turkey.

Somehow people forget that Kennedy was as much of a warmonger as any other US president just because he hated the CIA and got his head emptied in Dallas.

This entire conflict can be understood in the following manner:
1. Russia is ruled by someone who came up through the ranks during the time of very careful strategic and behavior calculations by both sides poised on the threshold of being destroyed by one wrong move on either side.
2. US has sidelined everyone who rose through that careful era of tender hooks and diligent game theorying, and is ruled instead by triumphalist hacks and shallow thinking opportunists and ideologuess who think because their previous generation won and they are more powerful they can do no wrong, and have no need to learn the underlying mechanics of careful calculation.
Biden is a fossil from the same era but he may not remember that.
