Sure. But for now, the fact also helps to be sympathetic with the Ukrainian refugees, that they are actually - for the most part - woman and children, while the men stay behind and fight - whether willingly or not is another matter.

Dude this is the same source which was claiming Ukraine recaptured the Antonov airbase yesterday.

This is not the first news of having shot down a Russian transport aircraft. At that moment of the 18 IL-76 aircraft that were heading towards Kiev, some sources reported that at least one was shot down, but nothing so far has been proven true. And I have a lot of doubt about that statement. Probably to boost the army's morale.
But if it really is true, a great loss.
