I just had a read of reddit. They seem to have bought the western propaganda fully. The Russian invasion has been repulsed with heavy losses, the Ukrainian air force is doing fine with pilots becoming aces. That's the consensus even on military forums. Despite being repulsed, Russian tanks are somehow in the middle of Kiev committing war crimes, and Russian soldiers dressed as civilians or Ukrainian soldiers are running around causing mayhem.

While in actual fact Russian tanks are parked outside Kiev watching with horror as the city starts to turn on themselves.

Not even Kim Jung Il could dream of his people buying his propaganda that much.

This reminds me of the 1979 Sino-Vietnam war, where China stationed its best forces in the north in case of a Soviet retaliate attack, and sent in its 2nd stringer into Vietnam. It seems Russia is doing something similar.

Yeah especially the one about the ghost pilot that downed 7 russian fighters. Its hilarious how westerners always think they're the smartest when they believe the most propaganda

Chances of a coup happening on the night? Russia will clearly level the city if needed and then bring Chechens to wipe out any surviving resistance.

Putin is basically saying, solve it between yourselves quickly so I dont have to come in and take extreme measures

I think China's non-interference is genuine and wise. China in principle is against Russian invasion of Ukraine, and has expressed that implicitly. But it was never China's job to do anything about it while incurring cost on its own. in this case it's especially true given the problems was created by NATO expansion and NATO was perfectly capable of solving it themselves, meaning, stop expansion.
