There is an airborne helicopter assault going on in Gostomel, there are many transport helicopters and some attack helicopters.
The CNN image shows Russian paratroopers taking positions on the street, the Russians at that time were creating a perimeter around Gostomel International Airport. Zelensky himself claimed that the Russians captured the airport and Ukrainian sources report that the 4th Brigade of the National Guard (4-я бригада оперативного назначения Национальной гвардии (Украина)) is trying to recapture the airport. That's because according to Christo Grozev, who works for British intelligence, he said that 18 Il-76MDs from Pskov are flying towards Kiev, likely towards that airport or to drop more paratroopers in the region.

CNN showed the Russian troops on the ground and even talked to them. There was a report in Ukrainian the incursion was defeated. That was inaccurate and my fault. My apologies.
There is fighting in the area, but I am not sure if it is at the airport itself. I would presume so, but no proof.
