Isn't that a bit too fast? How did they manage to reach Kiev so quickly?
The attack against Kiev would have come from forces from the north, from Belarus. Attacking from a 3rd country carries a bit of an element of surprise. Something like half of the Ukraine's forces are deployed to the east facing the two new republics and both the north and south flanks are not that well defended. Plus it looks like the attack from the north has airborne support.

If anything the attack from the south is going fairly slowly. But the southern force might be attacking across a broad broad front since we have word that landings have taken place in Odessa while group troops are moving up Kherson.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

Someone should tell the cameraman he shouldn’t be that close as I am sure a Russia unit or missile is en route to retrieve or destroy it depending on how deep behind the frontlines it came down.
Maybe they just gave some coffee to the poor lad and a breakfeast ?

There is a flight helmet on the ground and there is no blood in the cockpit. I think the pilots got out fine.

Tomorrow morning i'll be buying Russian vodka and caviar to support Putin.

Incidentally, if NATO blocks the Bosphurus to the Russians, isn't that a declaration of war and ww3?
I don't think someone will go help. Turkey cargo was probably to retrive politicians and money carriers from the capital to Turkey. Sad day for Ukraine but without any constructive move from the West, the situation imploded badly.
