So, thirty years after the fall of the USSR and Iraq-I, and twenty-years after Iraq-II, Russia is back at war on a major scale. And, of course, the US/Anglo/Zionist alliance won’t interpret this as a referendum on the past thirty-years of their abuse-of-power!

And that would be what objective?

For Russia in this case to secure their buffer zone by implementing either a new regime in Kiev that are friendly to Russia and won't join NATO. That's my opinion.

I think @Equation is right. Ukraine has added a clause in its constitution that EU and NATO membership is a goal back in 2019. They also removed certain rights for Russian speakers in terms of education opportunities and government access. I think Russia will impose on them a new constitution, that reverts all of this, that they will remove the current government from power, and remove all their heavy weapons and ballistic missiles. They will also likely detain a bunch of people, like the guys who belong to Azov Battalion, to make an example out of them. Like Putin said "de-nazification" of Ukraine.

BTW here is Putin's speech given just before the operation started.

One more.
