And this is yet another example why it's hard to take Ukrainian PR with anything but laughter. Time and time again.
And western media swallows it up like a mushroom swallows shit in darkness.
Can we get some evidence that sanctions have not stopped or significantly impeded UVZ tank plant?
Sounds like 100% bullshit.

Tell me please what western components are in T-90's ..... That would impend production or T-72's refurbishment.
I will give you one hint. The West has been sanctioning sales of any components which can be used in Russian weapon systems since the 2014 Annexation of Crimea. Germany stopped sales of engines for corvettes for example. France stopped the sale of the Mistral LHDs. The only major component Russian tanks use which used to be imported was the thermal imager which used to be imported from France. But they sorted that out at least 5 years ago. Which is when you saw major Russian government orders of T-72 tanks upgraded with thermal imager showing up. A couple years back there was even a crackdown on Russia purchasing commercial grade night vision devices from Western countries for their police. The sanctions should have zero effect on the Russian weapons industry. In fact it is likely to be the industry least affected by sanctions.

The T-90's were supposed to use French made Catherine thermal imager. I recalled however there was already an effort to make local thermal imager. Dunno about the result.
See above.

Jack Ma's Alibaba is deeply infiltrated by Western capital. Not that it matters since the Chinese government has been forcing both Alipay and WeChat Pay to be essentially wrappers around the Chinese government's own digital payments platform. In fact I think the transition has already been done for some time already. Yet more proof that Xi was prescient in breaking these corporate cartels down.

In fact I'm most surprised and annoyed that some seem to rate this a legal war! No war like this is legal or justified.

The ship of "legal wars or justified wars" sailed long ago, largely thanks to the west's undermining of its own international institutions and agreements to serve US interests, agression and destabilization efforts around the globe, from Yugoslavia, to Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Hong Kong, etc.

Any analysis of the legality of any of this, even if technically correct(it does break some international law or another), will still be largely subjective and emotional. To restore any rationality and validity to such arguments, the West would have to start prosecuting the architects of the multiple NATO invations, the US would have to scrap the law that allows them to invade the Hague and become a signatory, etc.

I will also add that another thing which should be pushing up the price of the ruble is that the RCB has been soaking up the rubles inside Russia proper. Most rubles are inside Russia not in foreign markets. They did two things to soak them up. They raise interest rates to 20% and they removed VAT on gold purchases. A lot of people in Russia have been buying precious metals and thus giving their rubles to the RCB. If you reduce the amount of ruble currency in circulation its value will naturally increase. This is also another way they can offload the gold that they got banned from selling in the London gold market.

They also ordered their companies to pay their debts to countries sanctioning Russia in rubles. Which is another way of increasing demand for the ruble.

I doubt that's only one TEL tbh, it went to the place where it could reload it's missile with possibly more TELs

Sosna-U/Catherine Thermal sights that is currently use on T-90M, T-80BVM and T-72B3 which is the main bulk of Russian tank fleet.
Though the Russians have those sights under licensed production, so i guess it wouldn't be an issue even if the licensing is expired.
French thermal sights was gone since 2014, they make their owns now, you need a little catch up on Russian semiconductor industry, they are capable of manufacturing 512*512 IIR now, actually, almost every western components was banned since 2014, the rest are just civilian chips /engines for models, can’t really ban them anyway

Putin instructed to supply gas to unfriendly countries only for rubles

Putin instructed to convert payments for Russian gas supplies to Europe into rubles. The Central Bank and the government should determine the order of operations for the purchase of rubles by gas importers on the domestic market of Russia in a week

by TASS with reference to the president.
According to Putin, the authorities plan to abandon currencies that have "compromised" themselves, such as the dollar and the euro. “I have decided in the shortest possible time to implement a set of measures to transfer payment — let’s start with this — for our natural gas supplied to the so-called unfriendly countries for Russian rubles,” the head of state said in a presentation by TASS.
The government and the Central Bank were instructed to think over the procedure for transactions with which gas buyers will be able to purchase rubles on the domestic Russian market within a week. “I ask the government to give an appropriate directive to Gazprom on amending existing contracts. At the same time, all foreign consumers should be given the opportunity to perform the necessary operations,” Putin said. Russia will continue to supply gas to other countries in accordance with the volumes, prices and pricing principles that are fixed in the concluded contracts, he stressed.

Russia even manufactures its own LEDs for lighting. And when I mean they manufacture them, I mean they make the actual wafers, they have the fabrication facilities to imprint the LEDs in them, and slice them, and package them all in Russia. Their semiconductor industry is a lot less backward than some people think.

Truck manufacturing mainly KaMAZ is going to suffer since they still use western components despite the fact they we're told to cut that off. They also lost contracts because of that from what I've read. GAZ groups URAL on he other hand is golden in terms of truck manufacturing

For me, one of the more striking aspects of the Ukraine war is the amount of naked white privilege on show.

White Europeans and Americans react with horror and outrage at the ‘heartlessness’ and ‘indifference’ shown by non-whites who just view this war the same way as all other recent far away wars like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen etc because equal treatment isn’t good enough, they expect and demand special treatment for this war because it’s white Europeans who are the ones suffering and dying.

Civilians die and suffer, war crimes and atrocities are committed in all wars. That’s just the basic reality of war, legally and morally justified or not.

In that respect, Ukraine is nothing out of the ordinary. Indeed, compared to past American wars, the number of civilians killed are if anything, lower than average and what one might have expected. And I think that is a choice consciously made by the Russians knowing the cost is more Russian blood and lives in fighting the war.

Would you also say this and Putin announcing Euro has to pay in rubles now. The group inside of Russia that still leaned to the west in terms of economy' orientation is officially dead?
