Decent analysis, but it has one major problem.

He raised a good question, which we already discussed on this thread: Why didn't the Ukrainian Air Force interdict the huge logistics convoy which the entire planet watched slowly rolling towards Kiev? The obvious answer is that Russia indeed has Air Superiority.

The problem though is the manner in which he describes Russia achieving air superiority. His claim is that Russia is relying mostly on its S-400s/IADS. Thats a big assumption. He cites only 1 kill that the S-400 got at long range. Moreover, the problem is in the concept, because relying mainly on your SAMS would create deconfliction issues in the airspace you're trying to dominate. I suspect the CMs and Air Strikes on Ukraine's airbases had more of an effect than the S-400s. We even saw one of the Ukrainian airbases completely destroyed by a FOAB, which was dropped by a strategic bomber.

The fact that Ukraine was desperately requesting Polish Mig-29s indicates that the S-400 are not their main concern. If they were, then it would be pointless to ask for more Migs. The request for more Migs indicates that they've actually lost most of their air force. It was either disabled on the ground, or it was splashed in combat (or both.) But more data is needed here.

Another issue which he didn't address, and it hasn't been discussed much on this thread either, is the weather's effect on Russia's air campaign. After the first few days Ukraine was covered by clouds. US intelligence correctly predicted that this would cause problems for Russia's CAS efforts. The next day, we got all the footage of MANPAD kills of Russian fighters and gunships. This slowed Russia's air operations for a time. So weather played a big role in the attrition here.

Interesting video on Russian helicopter tactics. This was used in Afghanistan by the Soviet Union back in the 1980s. I believe the tactic is to create a massive heat exchange to confuse the missile.

According to the video, that technique is called hit and climb and is used to fire off rockets at targets from a position that is out of a MANPAD's range. The channel cited a Cold War era East German manual to prove their claim:

I was just using the google machine to get some more analysis/information. Appreciate the link. The rockets they are firing I did not think were guided munitions which would mean they are eye balling the drop. Impressive.

I need a credible source for that last statement. Otherwise is both hyperbole and ludicrous to believe that Russia could survive an all-out nuclear attack. Some rural Russians might but that's about it. But Russia as a functional entity ceases to exist. Add to that, that if either the US or Russia is about to be annihilated, it pretty probable that they'll take the rest of us with them.
Major Russian cities have nuclear bunkers. What does America have?

Even there was a full exchange, there still would be some American & Russians survivors. Russians would still be Russians, but any surviving Americans would just be considered English people with funny accents.

Doesn't seem like any POW are being taken, so far only women.

Western media in full Ministry of Truth mode as expected. I wondered how they would explain the fact 99% of the civilians fleeing the town are accusing the Ukrainians of trying to kill them while they escaped. Turns out they just edit interviews to show a few seconds of them, giving you absolutely zero context other than "people are dying".

I'm following this war based on Western media coverage. The more atrocity propaganda, the more gains Russia is making.

Not only that, many Americans would blame Washington DC for a nuclear war with Russia, now Moscow. The media is trying its best to hype-up animosity towards Russians but i believe it's largely failing. Many in America are skeptical of the media.
