Another reporter gets slotted. Can't say I'm surprised. Journalists aren't an elite protected class in war like aid workers as many of them seem to believe. At best they're unarmed foreign civilians who gone into a war zone instead of running away from it. I won't say the worst interpretation because it's not very nice.

The whole attitude these western journalists have had going into this has been very cavalier. Many seem to have gone into this like they did in Iraq with for selfish reasons, like career promotions and clout. It is like Iraq, except they're doing the equivalent of embedding with the Republican Guard.

It's no different to that youtuber who ended up in Kabul in the days before it fell. Somehow because they've got a sticker on their microphone that says CNN, or BBC that it makes it ok. The self serving western media will glorify them as martyrs fighting for a just cause, and the cycle will continue.

Why has Putin asked Kim Jong-Un for assistance in Ukraine? I’m sure Kim would send, at least, one Armored Brigade!

The Russians don't need an Armoured Brigade from North Korea, but Russia could use a lot more infantry for urban combat in Ukraine.

North Korea does have a huge infantry force, so they could easily spare a few divisions at a time. They could do with some combat experience and Russia is probably offering decent money. Alternatively, Russia might supply oil or fertiliser since they have a lot to spare now.

And it's not like the US can impose any more sanctions on North Korea.

Could you imagine 50,000 North Korean soldiers deployed in Ukraine?

They dug in well tho. and seems to prepare, minings of the beach, tank traps in city.

In the otherhand tho. at March 7, apparently there was shipping of ODAB-500PM FAE bombs to Black Sea Fleet, might be used for their aviation asset. This can help clear the beach out of mine. and well, city in general.

Or, as opposed to the typical Russian fashion of brute-forcing through, they could land their forces to the south of Odessa and use the highway to attack from the rear, behind all the defensive-breastworks!

Also, if any objective were ripe for an airborne assault, Odessa is it! Far from the primary theaters of battle and geographically isolated, with few avenues for re-inforcement/re-supply.

Well, I was joking about the Armored Brigade; it would take too long for that to be transported. Supposedly, NK has the largest Special Forces in the world. Maybe slip ~ten Battalions behind the Ukrainian lines along the Donbas front?
