Considering what's happened on December 10, 1941, I wouldn't have picked this particular name for the future aircraft carrier.

Personally I would have liked the Ark Royal, Hermes or even Illustrious or Invincible

Who cares about the Royal Family and who will in 50 years time it's way out of date the naming in my opinion apart from harry and William and thier uncle who fought on the Falklands what contribution has Royal family made to UK defence in recent times

:)

Hate typing on my iPhone! Lol I edited the last part

Anyhow names have been decided so no point in discussing them now

Apart from bringing in money from tourism to the UK the Royal Family has nothing to offer the UK and plus many lost respect in them after Princess Diana died, she was the peoples Princess and a fine example of what Royal Family should look like

A small fire was discovered in our ship build hall earlier today. The fire was extinguished swiftly and no damage or injuries were sustained.

Does not seem to be any big deal. No damage to the ship, no injuries.

Nothing to link or tie it to 1941. No need to let this lead to insulting UK tradition and culture that has persisted for over 1130 years, and will likely outlive all of us and our great-grandchildren...though the Monarchy is purely symbolic and cultural now.

Back on topic.

Anyone who has previously doubted the detection capabilitys of the Type 45 DDG here is a quote from this article about the Artisan radar to be fitted to the Queen Elizabeth Carriers and I quote

Artisan can “track a target the size of a soft ball moving at Mach 2 at very low levels over 35 kilometres away”.

I read that if a Type 45 sat in the water between Norway and Scotland on the North Sea it could cover the entire air space between the two country's you work out the rest

If it flys Type 45 will see it and if it can see it then it will be shot down

Wow they are writing with a black maker on the island windows at 0:55 seconds I thought you were are not allowd to do that for obvious reasons very strange

Also one thing people usually forget is that the Harrier was actually not supersonic whereas the F35B is, the F35B can lift more, go further and do it faster than the Harrier plus it's stealth and 5th generation huge huge leap in capability over the Harrier

V22 Osprey tanker will easily fit into the QE class and with aerial refueling the F35B can have the range of the F35C if required

Well that's probably the Air bosses station, and the marker is likely washable with the window likely having a coating for just that kind of thing.
