The UK military expressed their interest in installing Quantum Computers in their tanks to experiment with the concept of "smart tanks". This information was disclosed by Richard Murray, the CEO of quantum computing firm Orca, chosen because "some of their devices can fit on a standard computer shelf and work at ambient temperature". Murry expressed that he hopes to transfer the technology to fighter planes one day but is currently working "on a larger-scale platform that can be deployed on the ground".
