Latest pic of 167. Looks like hangar is rebuilt taller, and there may be a new mast.
Hmm, actually looks about the same. I think with the rolling hangar doors removed, it looks taller.
Interesting to note, what vessel is to the right of 167 in the second pic?
Is that a recent picture ? I could not find any information about 164 being upgraded, but that looks like it belongs in a museum.
I don't have a date, no modernised with 134 the two 051D, four others modernised with HQ-7 ( 32 SAM ), C-803 (16 ) 051G1/G2 : 165/166 and 051DT : 109, 110 then 6 Luda remain in service.
Yes no modernised because replaced by 052D logic and her 10th Destroyer flotilla* to Lushun will be the second to receive 052D after the 9th to Yalong Bay/Yulin which have now the first on a total of four.

Still pretty long in the tooth and the design is certifiably ancient.
