The two ships 165 Zhanjiang and 166 Zhuhai maybe retired, but after a series of midlife refits, the two ships have a bunch of radars and fittings that are still currently used in service. They include Type 344 and Type 347 gunnery radars, Type 760 navigation radars and Type 360 surveillance radar. These have been stripped from the ship, and they can be used as spares for other currently working warships. They kept some obsolete radars, including an early Type 517 'Pea Sticks' and Type 345 fire control radar for HQ-7. For 166 Zhuhai, maybe they will weld back the masts after she retired to her museum home in Chongging. I doubt the still currently in service radars will be restored, and I don't know if they will restore the original or obsolete radars. Some retired Ludas that were turned into museums, like 163 Nanchang (retired in 2016) still have the old radars, like Square Tie or Bow Tie, Type 341 gunnery radar and especially the Type 343 'Wasp Head' fire control radar that looks pretty unique.
163 Nanchang at retirement. The top of the bridge has Type 343 Wasp Head. Nanchang's name goes to you know what, and pennant 163 is headed for a Type 052DL that will be serving with the 2nd Destroyer Division.
