Turkey is close to reaching a deal with Moscow over the purchase of Su-35 fighter jets as well as co-manufacturing some components of the Russian-made jets, Turkish sources said Friday.

Turkish and Russian officials are discussing the details of the sale of a total of 36 Su-35 fighter jets to Turkey, two months after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) aviation show outside of Moscow.

Turkey and Russia are also discussing the joint production of Su-35 jets and other military hardware.

Nowhere in that article is there any mention of Turkey using the Nebo-M radar against the F-16s, other than the headline. Where is the proof, if there any, of Turkey using Nebo-M radar against it's F-16s?

American objections are valid wrt the s400. Russian trainers can use the s400 to study the electronic signatures of f35 and put America's best plane at a serious disadvantage. Its purely technical which the Turk leader has made a ego issue.

And yet it never cross American mind that they can also study the electronic signature of the S-400 in turn. The most premier Russian SAM atm.
