These pics must've been quite old then. Otherwise they went from this to ^ in just 3 weeks...Images of the Kaan P1 in production
I believe that they used the wrong image on the ppt slide
So head of SSB has a press conference. The following where stated:
- Work continues on the second prototype of KAAN. Its first flight will take place this year.
- There will be fundamental visual differences (from the first prototype).
- A total of 6 KAANs will be produced for the tests.
- The 2028 target for KAAN continues. We will install our domestic engine on KAAN in early 2029-2030.
- KAAN's domestic engine will be a 36,000 pound engine. The design will be frozen and will go into production. We have meetings every week. The first batch will not be included in the delivery, but in the next batch.
- We have customers waiting for our warships that have been built. These can be exported as long as our navy allows.
- ASELFLIR-500 was developed in 2024 and exported to 16 countries in just one year.
- The flights of the aircraft equipped with mission systems in the HAVA-SOJ (Stand Off Jammer) project will begin this year.
- The Kara ATMACA missile hit the target at a distance of 400 km with its KTJ-3700 turbojet engine.

That might be a possibility indeed. But the Kaan in this pic does look different (flatter)...
I think that they just got stuck on the wrong slide, this is P0
But why did all the journalists rush to take a pic of it then? Anyway, time will tell...
We also got official confirmation that the engine will provide 36000 lb of thrust!
