yeah you have already told me.. its great

but my point was different. integrating with aircraft is such a big big claim. TRMotor might be in advance stages of development and component manufacturing. and could be near of assembling first prototype. but it will still take years before engine first integrate with aircraft..

btw, i always wanted to ask you about Engine testing facilities ?? curious to know. where are Turkish Turbofan engine testing facilities and are you guys planning to build high altitude test bench facility ?
TEI has them

I guess this rumor really started with me lol, whole IDEF-25 TF-35k is just a possibility that I said to a friend and somehow it spread around like it is some insider info
yeah I never considered it as a trustworthy rumor even before you mentioned that you were the original source :) I just mentioned it to @sunnymaxi because the amount of people that believe in this is not that insignificant.

We already know that they started working on it long ago without an official announcement re. the tender's winner.

Obviously they must be making some progress behind closed doors if they can be this relax about the glooming possibility of being left without an engine supply. They've only been this strict about leaks with strategic missiles under development.

At another TV channel, he said that Kaan is to fire missiles with a range of 200-220km at the firing tests to be held in the first half of 2025. He didn't specify whether it would be air-to-air or air-to-ground missiles though.

The way he talks tells me he knows much more than what he discloses. And weirdly enough his statements of the past few days didn't stir a thing in Turkish mil watching. Is it dying out?

I doubt that 3 different TV channels would be crazy enough to let any jack blabber on their watch. He's being fed info from inside just like Mete Yarrar.

*Cough... Fahrettin Altun cough!

@Radonislav Do you remember when YeniSafak published the Anka-3 images for the first time ever? Many had a hard time believing it until they saw the thing fly for real.

Well indeed, it could be possible but dates don't match. Gökhan+Kaan could take place in 2026 for example

IMO the dates are at best indicators not to look out for and most of the time they are flux. Some developments go faster than others. When is the last time we heard about Gokhan? When do we get to see Akbaba? We saw its passive radar seeker at Aselsan in 2019 and there was an accidental leakage of it fitted to an F-16 which very few people got to see.

Mete Yarrar and this new guy are used to get some info out there to keep people excited but offers plausible deniability if projects suffer delays.
