A Greek Coast Guard boat today entered Turkish waters and approached to mainland Türkiye as close as several meters. And Türkiye side did NOTHING. On the contrary Turkish Coast Guard has announced that they were informed of the incident thanks to citizens calling emergency line. What an audacity from Greeks and what an incompetency from Turks. Shame. If it was Turks going near Greek land, Greeks would turn the entire media into hell for Turks, but Turks try to pretend nothing happened.

Greeks have launched 2nd Belharra class frigate today. Such equipment will give them even more courage to repeat their provocations in the future if we do not retaliate today. We are slowly falling behind on navy just like the air force. In addition to the inventory, incompetency in command is even bigger problem. That boat should not have been able to leave the Turkish waters traveling over the water.

Istifa are quite enough for FDI's. Better equipment+ 8 vs 3.

You are a bit worryingly anxious

I hope you guys are right and when the region heats up even further it will be me that will regret worrying too much and too early.
What I wrote earlier this year:

That's a mere trivial matter as by the end of 2030 all F-16's will be modernized, dozens of Kizilelma-A and B will be in service as well as the Anka-3, 30-ish Block 10 Kaan, SOJ platform, Unmanned SOJ, Unmanned AWACS and perhaps EF-T4 etc.

The main worry is the next 3 years (24, 25, 26) being critical in that no new B70 and only the first non-AESA Ozgurs start to arrive. But from '27 onwards is going to be a watershed moment for the airforce as dozens of new AESA equipped platforms start to enter service annually.

From 2028, Özgur with MURAD and Gokdogan and KE-B with MURAD and Gokdogan will seal the deal. Add the Gokhan and it'll be a one sided massacre.

I want to add the KE-C.

Imagine a Kizilelma with twin AI-322F at the size of Kaan with the sensors of the Kaan at half the weight and price.

Imagine that thing patrolling the skies using only its passive sensors and targeting data fed through datalinks, Hakim and the plethora of GaN based AESA radars and AEW&C platforms, while carrying at least 4 Gökhan long range BVR missiles. And Imagine that thing being controlled through the Fergani satellite constellation.

Not even a 5th gen can get through such a network.

And such a network will be fully up and running no later than 2035 IMO.

The current deficit in the air-to-air domain will soon be followed by an immense luxury problem of having 4 supersonic platforms already flying(F-16, KE, Hurjet, Kaan) with a 5th (Anka-4) coming up, all sporting AESA radars and BVR capability.

The TurAF soon needs to make hard decisions on how many F-16 they are going to upgrade, and how many new platforms they are going to induct. There is no sense in upgrading all of the F-16's with expensive AESA radars while also inducting KE's and Anka-3/4 en masse.

Problem isn't in the tech but how TurAF thinks. I don't think (or ever seen) TurAF is this visionary, they are the most rear minded force in Turkish Armed Forces, even the land forces have better integration.

Maybe things will change for the good, I hope so

What makes you believe this? I've always thought the opposite though.

Larger sensors need more power to operate. Larger radome as well. You won't fit those inside a small drone.
A twin AI-322F KE will probably have the same size as Kaan. Plenty of room.

Actually, seeing as it looks the most like a J-20 of all the manned fighters, it'll resemble an unmanned J-20.
