And the 1000th HGK-82 kit has been delivered:First batch of the 1000 HGK-82 contract delivered. The rest will be delivered by August 2022. Turkey now has 3 different production lines (Aselsan, ASFAT, Kale) for various guided bombs for 3000 pieces annual production rate.
Turkey aims for 75-80% military indigenization rate by 2023:
"With the leadership, support and incentives of our President, our local and nationality rate in our high-tech defense industry has now exceeded 70 percent. Our goal is to increase this rate to 75-80% in 2023. We will continue to do what is necessary for this.”
This was near the composite production facility. Apparently belongs to the 738.
One of two Gokbey prototypes in a hangar somewhere. Had to be careful due to the ongoing flight activities. The other Gokbey stationed towards the right is in the colors of the Gendarmerie Command. They have like 4 prototypes. And this is where the photos end Sorry...
ATAK 2 is currently in production however there isn't much to see. It's in a very early phase.
The production of the T-70's continue, but due to CAATSA there is a HUGE deduction on its numbers. TAI is doing the best they can.
Aksungur is apparently booked to oblivion, quite literally. There weren't ANY Aksungur's on the assembly line. And that is because TAI just takes them off the production line as soon as they're ready and sends them off to testing.
Hurjet's assembly line was filled with Malaysian delegates.
Saw the F-16 Ozgur in its digital camouflage. And it looks like it will retain it. But it may change later. Hurjet won't feature the digital camo btw. At least that's what they told me.
Hurjet's simulator was booked so I wasn't able to get any photos from there.
And last but not least... the big boi which is stationed in its hangar. I nearly fainted when I saw it btw. I'm not allowed to share anything regarding its design, no photos were allowed to begin with. A very experienced team is leading the program, and it's coming together nicely. That's all you need to know. Oh you might expect to see another MMU mock-up. I don't know when. MMU's prototype won't have RAM paint.
Latest figure is that TEI produced 63 engines for the T-70...The production of the T-70's continue, but due to CAATSA there is a HUGE deduction on its numbers. TAI is doing the best they can.
Very good news. TAI has its hands full with all the projects going on but they still deliver..Aksungur is apparently booked to oblivion, quite literally. There weren't ANY Aksungur's on the assembly line. And that is because TAI just takes them off the production line as soon as they're ready and sends them off to testing.
BREAKING NEWS
Works continue to produce the F110-GE-129E engine, which will initially power the MMU, at TEI.
Negotiations between TUSAŞ(TAI), General Electric (GE) and TEI continue.
Maximum locality rate is aimed for production.
TEI already produced parts for the F110 engine for the Peace Onyx program. I hope they now get to produce more, e.g. the fan blades and perhaps even the combustion chamber as in the T700 turboshaft engine production project.
Was too lazy to translate by myself so used Google instead
