Visit from Temel Kotil to the Su-25 Factory in Georgia



TAI General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil visited JSC Tbilaviamsheni (Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing / TAM) company located in Tbilisi, Georgia. Kotil examined the Su-25 aircraft on the line.

According to the information obtained, the parties in the meeting; They discussed future plans aimed at cooperation between Georgia and Turkey, establishing a joint venture and developing the military-aviation industry. After the assembly, the delegation examined the JSC Tbilaviamsheni assembly plant, where the Su-25 aircraft were structurally and avionically modernized in accordance with modern standards.

Looks like all three heard the "incoming" sound and hit the ground right before the explosion. One seems to be still alive and got up and ran. I thought I saw another shadow limping away as well.

All three are alive. They got lucky that the bomb hit behind one of the stabilizing arms. And I also doubt the howitzer is a total loss. This strike seems more of a warning to me.

The company was supplying intelligence systems for TAI's ANKA MALE UAV platform.

We have completed the #BayraktarTB2 UAV export contract with another country.

With this agreement, the number of countries where #BayraktarTB2 UAV was exported became 13.
