Yeah he's bullshitting. They start at ~$50K and very very very few top level guys get to $160K. Least that's what Google tells me. Looking at videos of what they do really gets me mad and I have to remind myself that they're turning the US into a Nazi state, damaging American freedoms and reputation and causing economic harm to China's only rival. The most common thing I see online is people saying that they previously wondered how Germany, a country once known for virtue and opposing slavery, fell to the radical Nazis but now they know how it all happened as they're seeing it step-by-step in the US. I should be thanking ICE because this is more ammo than anyone will ever need against Americans criticising China's human rights.
I wonder what will happen in 2028 when a democrat comes into office. ICE is going to be disbanded or it's going to be reduced to 2 small town gramps kinda guys giving out pamphlets. Immigration enforcement's going to be dead and Mexicans can probably just walk over the border in parades. Big question is what's going to happen to these ICE terrorists. Will they be simply fired or will criminal charges pile on for overstepping authority? Or will they get really crazy with them and release a names list so they become unemployable and harassed all the time everywhere?

There is going to be a huge national reckoning. No more healing and bringing the country back together without it and not punishing bad faith Republicans and calling out the cheerers and instigators of totally partisan justice.
2028 feels along time away but it really depends on what type of dem comes, if it even is a dem.
If its an establishment dem like kamala or newsom then nothing big will happen, if its actual lefty person with discipline then ICE needs to be abolished, all people that were complicit with trump administrations should be come social pariahs, Nuremberg the ice-dhs goon, post their names/list online as if they are CSA's people (and there was a recent case of ICE agent with caught with CSA).
The courts need cleaning, even the supreme court, unless there is a huge devastating consequences for all the people on all sides american will keep going worse.
There will be no real election when 2028 comes.
Elites (right and left) are already onboard, in coordination with Trump.
USA is turning from a Republic shell to an Empire. Trump's talent is to gether enough MAGA support, make the whole thing looks nature.
You actually have to have hard power to become an Empire. When you try to make the switch without having enough hard power, especially with a far more powerful opponent, its just death.
Whats happening is just a collapse of American institutions, financial system and social fabric, and its not hypothetical, its already hapoened, we're just waiting for history to progress to the point where its declared.
They do have hardpower, atleast enough hardpower for the americas and somewhat Europe, Unless a collapse of the dollar as reserve currency happens and these countries that are tech-economy dependent to america, the empire will keep chugging my draining others.
The same thing that happened to the Trump tariffs when Biden took office. It'll be the same with a different coat of paint.
