What but big beautifull bill passed the senate by simple majority 51:50 so how you saying this is not that series bill
I'm not saying the bill will not pass. Bills are passed with simple majority in both chambers. But that doesn't automatically become law.
After a bill is passed by both chambers it's sent to the president to sign it. He is allowed to refuse to sign and send it back to congress. If that happens then both chambers have to vote on it again and would need to pass it again but with 2/3 majority.
Big beautiful bill was his own project so he obviously singed it.
But he is unlikely to just sign something they pass to restrict his authority.
So basically to make a law that doesn't have president's support, congress needs super-majority support for it in both chambers.
