The problems are piling up.

Biden had to deal with China, the Middle East situation, and the Ukraine War.

Trump, has to play the same hand inherited from Biden.

Out of those three situations, there is only one where there still is some serious negotiations taking place, and people still willing to negotiate.

So Trump going out of his way trying to smooth things over, makes perfect sense.

China can help certain areas of the US economy, where the MAGA base lives. Israel and Ukraine only sucks out assets from America.

No more bullshit.

That could be the real message from the increased strictness of the rare earths export controls.

To be honest, for a considerable period I maintained that Trump genuinely sought to save America in his own way, and indeed he recognised the nation's problems. But he simply lacked the capacity to improve the situation.
But now, I believe he came to power solely to satisfy his own vanity and line his pockets.

If you really thought that he was anything more than a grifter, especially after his 1st term, you might have to consider doing a CT scan to see how many brain cells you have left.

only last month there was the Madrid agreement which was broke by the Anglo Americans with their 50% rule.

you can’t negotiate with ppl who fail to keep their word. You can only strong arm and bend reality to your will. Soon it won’t matter what the Americans say because their economy won’t be as influential.
