Wait til you find out where he got the name "Anduril" from

It's unbelievably cringe, especially since the LotR character Palmer (and Thiel, and the whole gang of cosplay chuds) most resembles is Saruman.

“I think that I now understand what he is up to. He is plotting to become a Power. He has a mind of metal and wheels; and he does not care for growing things, except as far as they serve him for the moment. And now it is clear that he is a black traitor.”

Tolkien is rolling in his grave.

Look at the Japanese. Japan was and is an ally of the US and the West. Unlike mostly everyone else, they volunteered to embrace and be Western and not being forced to and yet the West still saw them worse than the Soviet Union during the Cold War. In a way choosing to be Western to a Westerner is worse to them than being forced.

邯郸学步

Yeah, exactly, you hit the nail right on its head.

The West have this version of reality and international relations, while India has its own ideas about the very same topic!

The clash of worldviews, and that is not pretty!

Those Indians, I do not like saying it, but they come across as jokers.

Those RCEP negotiations, after a decade, was about to be finalized.

The Indians were invited to join, many many years ago, but refused, showed no interest.

Then when the RCEP was close to being done, India jumps in, now it wants to be part of RCEP, and wants to negotiate.

They negotiated with India for 3 years, delaying the RCEP implementation by 2 years! All because India wanted to export their people to other RCEP countries.

Well, look, that was not part of the deal with RCEP when India was not part of the negotiations. Now India shows interests in RCEP, everything has to change to accommodate that?

These people are not serious people, they are opportunist looking for a handout, or whatever perceived advantage they can get.

They want to export their people for the purpose making foreign currency and then transferring cash back home. In addition, they would mix up their workers with their spies for the purpose of infiltration. There are so many of them so it is hard to screen for legitimate spies.
They pulled out of the RCEP, instead of blaming themselves, they claimed that China was not going to abide by RCEP rules anyway. So what is the point of joining?

What's with your obsession with melting pots? Why not just let the Red Planet stay red.
Melting point is the way to go for humanity unless you want to be bickering about useless crap when there are far better things to do.

Imagine cavemen thinking like this. „What‘s your obsession with villages. Why not just let our cave stay black“

just like stone age trives came together to build villages, villages to build kingdoms, kingdoms to empires, we will start to think as a planet at some point.
