All of the actions of the Trump regime seems like proto-fascist tactics to me.
Federalize the police and deploy the National Guard to your nations Capital over a fabricated emergency? Sounds right out of the fascist playbook.
Remember January 6th? Now Trump will have full control of local police and military forces beforehand. This is all clearly leading to one thing; installation of an authoritarian regime and then of Democracy in the US as it has been known since the nation was founded.
The Republican party has been completely captured by radical elements and is no longer behaving in any way shape or form within the norms of a Democracy. Just look at Texas and the redistricting firestorm they kicked off, or go back to abortion and "States rights". These people are trying to enforce their will and world view on the rest of their countrymen, the law and procedure be damned.
