A reminder that Musk if not a fan of the F-35 and likely the NGAD. All future manned fighter programs really.

But cutting defense spending is likely an area that could legit benefit Americans greatly, unlike some of the other shit that he has been cutting.
Cutting almost all government spending could legit benefit Americans greatly. USA government spending is through the roof, it's almost a socialist country already :p

And really, Trump is supporting their "work" by signing the most headline grabbing executive orders, threatening allies left, right and center before retracting a day later. Meanwhile Musk and his stooges are pretty much completely unimpeded, it has been a long time in the US since a president has such control over the political apparatus, a cult of personality is an understatement.
They are already in a constitutional crisis. Now only question is when the bond markets realise and react. That's the only check left.

F-35 has way too much political backing because of a spread out supply chain. Lmao it would be ironic if the f-35 spending would stop this executive power grab.

Trump administration to keep only 294 USAID staff out of over 10,000 globally, sources say

USAID is basically done for, however, the big money is in defense spending, and it will be dangerous to start there.

I don't believe they can touch that now substantially. But if they do, that's even better in terms of internal chaos level.

Trump and Musk destroy the US empire from the inside - WIN.

Someone from the deep State kills them before they do so - the US enters into a civil war - again WIN too.

As for these 'reforms' reversing the US decline, don't make me laugh.

Not enough to solve the rotting, but enough to expedite the collapse.

They are not effectively removing the ground they are standing under.

Due to the decline of the US empire and elite over-production, this is just a battle for one group of elites to replace the other one, nothing 'noble'.

The same reason why they hate immigrants now, there is not enough wealth anymore, the empire is collapsing and it is a scarcity environment.

The middle class is destroyed, and the wealth is concentrated on the top and bottom, so everyone wants to take a chair in a limited set of chairs, from those bottom people working multiple service jobs to these top government 'elite' jobs.

This is basically Trump purging political opposition for himself and his own interest group and grassroots supporters. They have nothing to fall back on.

Look at this Tweet, it encapsulates that, not enough jobs even in finance, law, or tech, anymore, so a bunch of these young generations are now gunning for govt jobs:

BNO story, US version:

Also, I find it fittingly ironic that in the early days of the XHS revolution, MAGA supporters tried and failed to infect China with 3D printed guns and other homegrown terrorist garbage to 'overthrow the Chinese government' -- then a few weeks later, a Chinese quant fund releases Deepseek which infects the entire American tech space, overthrows their attempt at global AI monopoly, and sparks a homegrown revolt against American government funded big tech companies

If you thought the NAFO numbers were ridiculous look at Trump numbers.

Trump in December - 1 million dead
Trump in February - 2 million dead

Which suggests something like 40,000 - 80,000 casualties of dead and wounded per day.

Wait till it hits 60

I am very worried; with Trump, America is at the peak of its power and irresponsibility. I fear that his ultimate policy is to seek a military conflict with China to defeat and humiliate it while the balance of power still favors America, and to provoke a regime change that would lead to chaos and the fragmentation of the country.
Are you high?
