It is without weight. As you mellowed it down to, "At least considering the idea," which is worth nothing. So far the only effective strategy I have seen at staving off price increases has been declaring exceptionally low value to customs. Personally, my items ordered directly from China have arrived with import charges in the pennies per dollar. Are they just lying? Maybe, or what are the tariffs on anyway? Not the MSRP, so it's up to interpretation. Maybe it's raw materials. So what's 30-145% of 5 ounces of raw plastic at bulk pricing, as opposed to an electric soap dispenser at MSRP?
However, the part about Walmart eating all the tariffs so far has been confirmed by multiple sources from both nations so I don't need any more confirmation from this article as funny as it is that you brought it up.
