Poor pig pompeo might be bacon soon. I wonder what made trump hold such disdain for him despite him attempting to slobber all over the orange knob during the campaign. At least it's a sign he doesn't universally favour the most sycophantic.
Love how the US is just giving China the 21st century on a silver platter. Shutting down the publishing of health related research from government agencies, directing funds basically straight into the accounts of billionaires, kicking out a workforce that the US has been fine exploiting for years, etc.
The article pointed out that birthright citizenship overrides even the Chinese Exclusion Act in 1898. That is surprising.
Technically speaking, there are already 2 constitutional crises in less than half a week. I've never seen anything like it.
1. Tik Tok ban pause has overriden a law passed by US Congress and affirmed unanimously by the US Supreme Court, without a veto.
2. Ending birthright citizenship through an EO is overturning the US constitution and 150 years of legal precedent.
Wtf did Nixon and Clinton do again??? I don't even remember at this point.
It still has to go through the Supreme Court which I think everyone expected was going to happen.
Anything that can buy time is a win in my book.
