Wow well this is a pretty insane article. How can some people be so selfish to put their baby in danger for a chance at a green card?

““We were counting on our child being born here,” said Varun, who along with his wife Priya (names changed) moved to the US eight years ago on H-1B visas. “We’ve been waiting for our green cards for six years. This was the only way to ensure stability for our family. We are terrified of the uncertainty.” Priya, 34, is due to give birth in early March.

A 28-year-old finance professional said his plans would go haywire if his dependant wife were to give birth to their first child after the deadline.

“We sacrificed so much to come here. Now, it feels like the door is closing on us,” the H-1B holder said, still a few months away from parenthood.”
There's no guarantee that he can overturn the court's decision
It is not the job of the President to interpret law.
There have already been state lawsuits filed.

Funny enough some of these people will be the one talking up the US/West downfall but they will do everything to get citizenship or green cards from the West including putting their lives and those of their children. It's sad actually.

No, Indians, Pinoys, Mexicans etc (I.e. the greencard gang) are the biggest meat riders of the west. Collapse can be spitting them in the face and they'd still be delusional to the end.

If they ever talk about west downfall, it's only because of spite since their H1B got denied, and the implication is always that the west will be supreme again IF ONLY they let 10000000 subcontinentals swarm them, that the west is missing out on so much because they're not opening borders etc. It's not genuine criticism.

As if Trump 2.0 couldn't get more entertaining

Mark my words - hiring Kyle Bass for a treasury role will have the same effect as Trump's first term did on hard tech as it will on the financial system development in China. Kyle Bass will try and apply the kitchen sink of sanctions financially, and it will push Chinese policymakers to make the necessary reforms to make Chinese capital markets great again.

Hire Serpentza and Laowhy too so they don’t go homeless with no healthcare.
I see those two as being more valuable to society as dead and decomposing as au naturel fertilizers for corn than they are alive.

Saudi Arabia loves Trump, as their massive investment shows. I think India is going to be very disappointed in what Trump actually brings to the table, since immigration to America seems to be their biggest concern.
I am pretty sure KSA will normalize relations with Israel during Trump's term in exchange for US concluding defense pact with them or offering support for their civilian nuclear-power programme.

I also have a hunch Russians might end up disappointed with his presidency.
