I think China is sick and tired of all the constant flip flopping, back stabbing and deal breaking ever since the first Trump 1.0 tariff war. Followed by the Biden administration flip flopping and lectures. Now they are probably fed up with the insanity of it all. Obviously they can't get anyone on the Western front to adhere by their words and a signed agreement. Like Taiwan which has been recognized by the UN as a province of China since the 70s even acknowledged by their more mature Presidents of the past. Now they are flip flopping on that acknowledgment too. How can they ever trust the West in particular the USA again? Whose to say 3 years from now another idiot wins their Presidential election? It is best to cut the umbilical cord now and be done with it. You can't waste your time, energy and effort on futility.

April 15 (Reuters) - China has ordered its airlines not to take any further deliveries of Boeing jets in response to the U.S. decision to impose 145% tariffs on Chinese goods, Bloomberg News said on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Beijing has also asked that Chinese carriers halt any purchases of aircraft-related equipment and parts from U.S. companies, the Bloomberg report said.
The Chinese government is also considering ways to provide assistance to airlines that lease Boeing jets and are facing higher costs, the people told Bloomberg News.

Gotta watch out for US cutting off C919/C909 components and engines in retaliation. This would delay COMAC’s deliveries until domestic components and CJ1000 are ready. Call it COMAC’s Huawei moment.

The above definition is one reason why arguments that China is fascist has little merit. It's not that China doesn't have any fascist indications (the modern PRC is nationalist, it does practice state capitalism, it does have revanchist tendencies), but that fundamentally, China is rising.

Pretty much every liberal conception of what fascism is can be discarded since they always deliberately obscure and "forget" that the key aspect which connected global fascist alliance in WW2 and pre-WW2 was literally anti-communism. The actual name of the Axis was the ANTI-COMINTERN PACT lmao. It's first and foremost about defeating communism, period.

If you are East Asian or SEA or looking anything remotely Chinese be prepared to be harassed and subject to racial profiling. If you have an opportunity to get out of dodge City get out now! If you are thinking of vacation or even a stop over don't! I have a feeling this will escalate and the US right now is resembling a pseudo dystopian fascist nightmare with zero regards to rules, laws or customs. It is the Wild Wild West again. I am beginning to realized the movie Civil War and The Purge is becoming closer to reality over there.

also the 1970's TV series "Kung Fu"-where the 1870's Chinese were treated absolutely horribly-less then animals ,brutalized at every opportunity and only the Shaolin monk's extraordinary fighting skills(rip-offed Bruce Lee's script/concept BTW) made him survive and dominate in that environment-I personally took that lesson to heart.
