More proof positive the the US is moving forward with its very capable BMD capability off of AEGIS vessels.

We are supposed to believe that this system cannot touch the DF-21D...which has never been live fire tested against a ship at sea (not once)...while the SM-3 is consitantly knocking down more and more sophisticated ballistic missiles.

In answer to that, I love to see this continued progress...and especially since the US announces to and shows the world what it is doing and what it is capable of.

Talk is cheap. White papers are cheap. Having a system actually perform like this with all of the detection, targeting, guidance, and warhead to actually do it...while conducting all of the 4CISTAR necessary is a completely different matter, and a whole new ball park.

The Osprey is a multi-mission tilt rotor aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing and a short takeoff and landing capability.
