Re: Today's US Navy Hi-res Photos!

digital version of multicam?

First too be accurate It's Pixilated, Lots of patterns Could be called Digital and it can cause confusion as even Multicam is digital.
If only they were so lucky, AOR the pattern used in The NWU series. It's a Four color pixilated pattern akin too the Marines Marpat. Of course the Marines raised all kinds of hell about how close they came too there pattern so the Navy instituted changes making it darker then the USMC's. The AOR type 2 ( the pattern used in the NWU type 3) is purely woodland.

Re: Today's US Navy Hi-res Photos!

Tks Popeye for the photos. This is an interesting thread as there is a variety of photos of the USN - from Action to Training to Social Networking to Memorial (those who departed) to religious services etc. They depict what the USN really is without being monotonous focusing only on its Naval Power.

Re: Today's US Navy Hi-res Photos!

Thanks for the kind words advill. I'm humbled by your comments. I tip my hat to the photographers that take those photos. One thing I have always liked about USN Photos is that the majority of these photos are not staged. They are real. These are real sailors and Marines. You cannot ask for more

I'll be posting more pix tomorrow.;)
