INDIAN OCEAN (Sept. 3, 2018) Petty Officer 3rd Class Alexander Turla, an airman assigned to the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), launches an F-35B Lightning II assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 211, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2), Sept. 3, 2018.
