Ships line up in formation for a photo exercise in the Arabian Gulf during the International Mine Countermeasures Exercise (IMCMEX). With a quarter of the world's navies participating including 6,500 Sailors from every region, IMCMEX is the largest international naval exercise promoting maritime security and the free-flow of trade through mine countermeasure operations, maritime security operations, and maritime infrastructure protection in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility and throughout the world.

Sailors assigned to the Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60) conduct morning colors during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Brunei 2014. In its 20th year, CARAT is an annual, bilateral exercise series with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations including, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.

A C-2A Greyhound from the Providers of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 30, Detachment 5, makes an arrested landing on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) during Keen Sword 2015. The joint/bilateral field training exercise involves U.S. military and Japan Self Defense Force (JSDF), and is designed to increase combat readiness and interoperability of U.S. forces and the JSDF.

Bunker Hill is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
