Let me ask you this, did the US win Vietnam? According to your logic, which you applied to this particular thread, the US did.

And about who started the hostility. Chinese sources say the Soviets did, and Soviet sources say the Chinese did. How can you disregard one or the other when you weren't actually there? Or is it that Russian sources are inherently superior?

as i learned in high school. everyone, every source is biased. you are a russia, of course you are going to say good things about russian, and i am chinese of course i am going to say good things about us. even though you are trying to be inpartial, you have to see that you were educated by your side of source, and then you are biased.

by the way, one of the KIAed soldier who were entitled "hero" later is from my hometown. they made a poster of him called "life doesn't end, charging doesn't stop" he was wondered on the head and still charged for 6 more steps.
