Absolutely. I just see a lot of overly cautious and timid behavior coming from China.
The strange thing is, China is a bully against countries weaker than it is. But it is gutless and cowardly to countries that are stronger. So much for "strongman" Xi. What a fake show. Mao Zedong was far braver honestly.
Russia is a far more courageous country than China is in every way.
And how's Russia doing right now compared to China? Is the Russian economy booming because it's so "courageous"? Or is their standard of living skyrocketing because of their insane amount of "guts"? Governing a country is not running some cartel, courage can only go so far. It takes real brains to run a country well and a good government should take the interests of its people as the top priority. China might not be the most "courageous" country in the world. Hell, the most "courageous" organization of the world is probably Al-Qaeda and ISIS. China sometimes might seem "weak" to the populists (i.e. 1996 Taiwan Strait Crisis, bombing of the the Chinese embassy in 1999 by NATO, and the South China Sea plane collision in 2001). But what it has done for its people in the past 40 years has been nothing but astonishing and that's the most important measurement of success for a government. If you have lived in China during the 1950s and 60s you'd know the tremendous amount of progress this country has made since then.
