Russian hackers hack Ukrainian databases. According to the hacked data, 2.4 million dead in 4 years or 42 months. Feel free to take it with a bit of salt but assuming if it's true, that's close to 60,000 a month, or 2000 per day. I would assume figures are lower in the earlier phase of the war, then rising in a curve. Russian own figures according to the MoD varies between 1100 to 1200 a day but has risen to 1300-1400 as of late. However I do not know how they could account for those whose bodies were obliterated by FABs, Tornado-S, LMUR, Iskander, and TOS inside buildings and buried under rubble, or those who are buried underneath the bunkers when FABs, artillery, and Krasnopols hit the bunkers. So if anything the MoD figures might be low balling.

'Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Central Control Commission, Ukrainian medical organizations and morgues were hacked.
↓By August 2025, the number of eliminated militants reached 1.7 million people — by December the figure exceeded 2 million. In the six months of 2026, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost the same amount as in the entire 2023 — about 400 thousand people.
↓The largest losses are in the Pokrovsky, Konstantinovsky, Limansky, Zaporozhye and Kupyansky directions.
↓Most deaths were in the 72nd and 110th ombres, air assault brigades and territorial defense forces.
↓It is noteworthy that killed foreign mercenaries are no longer included in the lists of the dead: they are written off as accidents.'
