The special asset is probably recapturing the Pokrovsk Sign. The one where Zelensky filmed himself bragging on it which later the Russians planted their flag on it. People have geolocated their landing zone to be around the corner next to the gas station where the Pokrovsk Sign is.

There are reports of up to 3 helicopters involved.

What is more likely is that the GRU grunts were dropped off to die as decoy, and while the Russians were busy pounding them to red mist, one or both of the other two helicopters extracted valuable VIPs from the encirclement, and we can all have a good guess at what kind of VIPs deserve this level of investment and sacrifice to get out.

During the fighting in Ukraine, the first ricochet of a Russian bomb, presumably a FAB-500, or according to some sources, a FAB-1500, was recorded. The bomb was dropped by a Su-34 frontline fighter-bomber. The video shows the bomb ricocheting off the ground and flying several hundred meters. The location of the filming was not reported.

I wonder just how hard it would be to make these turtle tanks into unmanned drone tanks. If their main goal is to act as fire magnet, why not just take the people out of it altogether?
