Look like GUR sent a Blackhawk with special forces to the Pokrovsk pocket today, probably to try to retrieve some important assets, helping them to get a way out.
For now it looks like it didnt go well. They got swarmed with drones if footages are correct... surprising that they have been able to unload the helicopter. Look like Mariupol a bit...

Any attempt to break the stranglehold means an assault on the open field on multiple overlapping Russian kill zones. If the drones don't get to you first, there are Russian positions in the buildings and hirises that can swing a Kornet ATGM (range: 10km) at you. With the Russians taking the intersection with the vehicular graveyard, the gap is less than 2km wide. That will even put you in direct fire from snipers.
The Russians appeared to have installed drone infrastructure all along Pokrovsk by now, likely at the high rises like the Shakhtarsky district. FPV drone range is easily 10-20km, which means the drones can easily reach Dromophilia and the Shakhove pocket, while covering the gap and Rodensky. Other drone infrastructure might be located at the New Economy village next to Myhrnohrad.
The AFU 25th Airborne Brigade has elements trapped in fortifications at the bottom of the pocket. They are the very definition of trapped.
Kupyanak is facing a similar situation where it is now completely blocked off as Russians take the Soldove village at the west. Russian forces are now sweeping across the east at Petropavlivka. The Oskil river is preventing proper escape and boats are getting droned. There are constant counterattacks to dislodge the grip but they have to go through an open field and the Russians have positions at the buildings and rises where they can rain ATGMs and sniper fire, if drones don't get to the targets first. The Russians should have drone infrastructure already installed within the apartment complexes.
At the same time, Volchansk or what remains of it, is almost taken, Siversk is nearly surrounded and logistics cut off, Liman and Konstantinovka are reporting both Russian assaults and DRG infiltration, Novopavlivka at Dnipropetrovosk is now under direct Russian assault and the Far East Express is closing in on Hulaipole.
The special asset is probably recapturing the Pokrovsk Sign. The one where Zelensky filmed himself bragging on it which later the Russians planted their flag on it. People have geolocated their landing zone to be around the corner next to the gas station where the Pokrovsk Sign is.
That spot has the Russian flag replanted again.
