The War in the Ukraine

Because they are addicted to that bot. Just skim passed when you see that name, since it seems people randomly come off the ignore list

The money in weapons from storage is an entirely different figure.

It's the blank cheque handouts being sent to the pockets of Ukrainian corrupt officials thats being admitted to publicly and overtly that people count when talkimg about money sent.

The scrap weapons are a surplus account that can be added to the final tally.

Yes the mid term elections are close, but this kind of bificuration won't blurry it enough I think at this point, especially when prominent officials proudly proclaim how much of our tax money is being funneled to these crooks on national Television on a daily basis as if it helps the average person in some twisted messed up way. Who knows how much more is going on off the cameras
Problem is the weapon systems/ military equipment cost a fortune to maintain and operate.

I think this is the biggest reason why tehre is not so much donated equipment in Ukraine, if say Germany wants to send tanks for anything more than a static display then they have to spend lot of money to make them functional.

And the cost of it should be in the range of 15-35% of a new tank.

Similar story for everything else, even if the eqipment in good and certified condition (II doubt it) it still cost 3-4% of it replacement cost to operate it in every year, on normal, peace tempo.

In war tempo it is more likelly 20-40% of the replenisment cost, as the Germans learn it from the failures of they equipment.

At this stage of the war, I can't possibly see how negotiations will take place. Unless somehow Russia is unable to continue fighting, Russia would be moronic to accept a Ukraine with Zelensky (or any NATO puppet) government in place, even if Ukraine agrees to cede all Russian claimed territory and vow not to join NATO.

Any intermediate peace would simply defer a conflict to the future and Ukraine will further build up its defenses (like the 8 years they used to build Donbas fortifications), learn lessons from this conflict, and procure Western weaponry. If Russia wants to solve the Ukraine problem permanently, it needs to remove the NATO puppet government and replace it with a pro-Russian one.

Putin has also said he is open to talking but IMO it's all for show, just like how Russia for decades told Japan they were open to negotiate return of Kuril Islands even though they have no intention of ever doing so.

I wonder what % of Russian GDP is being spent on war in Ukraine ! Russia doesn’t have luxury to trade with whole world while still waging a war in Ukraine. With the war escalating, troops fighting on both sides are increasing day by day. Ukraine has economic+ military support from whole NATO, while Russia has to wage the war virtually alone. Russia already couldn’t conquer new lands. I wonder what’s the objective of Russia and will Ukraine ever negotitate and let go of lost territory.
All I see is lose-lose situation for Russia.
I am sorry for saying this bro, but this take has got to be the most ignorant I have ever read on Russian economy, Russian military strength and capability, not to mention that Russia isn't exactly waging a do or die war against Ukraine + NATO.

This is the second time I've seen Ukraine side say this now. First time was on Twitter by some local Kiev official and I didn't pay much attention.

To completely evacuate Kiev with its 3 million resident would be a big logistic undertaking, not made easier by the very rolling blackout that made it necessary. If the city becomes a ghost town it would allow an offensive from Belarus to have much freer RoE once they reach the city siege stage.

Interesting, if you read NAFOs on Twitter and Quora they made it as if Zelensky is about to assault Kremlin. But you also have this. Also I'm pretty sure Biden folk deliberately leak this.

My paranoid mind says that Biden wants to wrap this quickly and fight China soon.
US only has a handful of fighter squadrons and a Carrier in Europe and they're not in kinetic conflict with Russia and then you have the rest of NATO. Conflict with China will be air and naval conflict.

If conflict in the eastern Europe conclude, military shipments can be rerouted to TW. This year TW hasn't received any missiles delivery, likely they are sent to Ukraine instead.

Roosian military personnel captured an EDM4S-UA anti-drone gun at Ukrainian positions. Earlier, Ukraine received Israeli hand-held UAV suppression systems of the EDM4S-UA type in the Ukrainian modification from the Lithuanian company NT Service. The EDM4S complex is based on a copy of the German G36 rifle. The exact characteristics of the complex have not been published. It is known that it is equipped with 4 directional antennas with a power of 10 watts. With a weight of 5.5 kg. EDM4S suppresses commercial drones at ranges up to 3-5 kilometers for 35 minutes. The EDM4S cost $15,000.

Footage of the explosion on the mine barrier of the BMP-1 of the Ukrainian army and the death of the assault group following it. When properly mined in this way, the mines are located on boards or carts and stretched out in front of the enemy. But in the battles in Ukraine, no one does this and they simply lay rows of mines on the road, as in this case. The driver of an armored vehicle does not always notice these mines, in this case it is strange that an assault group was walking next to the car and she also did not notice these mines.

Footage of Russian 122-mm D-30 howitzers hitting a column of armored vehicles of the Ukrainian army. The column was discovered on the march with the help of a UAV, after which the airborne troops worked out artillery at the given coordinates. About 5 armored vehicles were reportedly destroyed, after which the column dispersed.

Russian mobile crew 120-mm mortar 2S12 spoke about their combat work in Ukraine. The servicemen use the Ural-4320 truck to move around. Mortar 2S12 "Sani" was put into service in 1981, the minimum range of the mortar: 480 meters, the maximum range: 7100 meters.

A Ukrainian tanker who was captured on October 19 spoke about the state of the Macedonian T-72 tanks transferred to the Ukrainian army. Earlier, Macedonia handed over about 30 T-72 tanks to the Ukrainian army.

Hmmmm. No chance of that one happening, if Ukraine did that, all those hundred thousand lives on the side of Ukraine would’ve been completely for nothing and given Russias current gains (of the four territories) and considering what happened in regards to the Nordstrom pipelines and what happen in regards to that Crimean bridge and those assassinations, well Russia would be in no mood to stop and I don’t believe Putin is soft enough to simply give Ukraine anything right now. In fact Russia is simply better off continuing simply because Biden/America can never be trusted. Face it, Biden simply cannot do anything to China as long as the US continues the fight in Ukraine.

In that video of the Ukrainian column being eviscerated, did anyone spot that anti tank submunition going off and scoring a direct hit on the vehicle to the right?

Actually after a second look it looks like dust kicked up from something instead
