An alarming development for the Russians?

I didn't realise the Ukrainians had aircraft capable of hosting these weapons.
Based on the fact that HARM's are fired from only aircraft, there are several possible explanations:
1. Ukraine either managed to upgrade their Mig's to use HARM's
2. Ukraine received Mig's that can use HARM's
3. Ukrainian pilots are now able to fly Western aircraft
4. Nato unofficially joined the conflict.
5. Fake news

@MarKoz81 If you don't mind me asking, do you know of any Mig's or SU27's that are compatible with HARM's?

Military Summary had some pretty interesting claims, besides the usual trend of the past couple of weeks with the Russians grinding away at Donetsk outskirts (Capturing Pisky, pushing in Avdeeka, Marinka, etc) and Bakhmut fortifications.
  • Ukrainians have gathered a large number (how many unclear) of reserves in the region between Sumy and Chernihiv. Russians think that the Ukrainians will attack along that border into Russia to divert the Russian attention from the active fronts.
  • Russia has created 16 new volunteer BTGs and will be sending them in short order
  • Some claims that Russia is doing an offensive in Mykolaiv Oblast and have reached Pervomais'ke, about 30km east of Mykolaiv city. Is this for real? Weren't the Ukrainians going to do their offensive towards Kherson? Or did the Russians take the initiative to punch first? I would watch this one closely over the next few days to get a more accurate picture.
  • Russian attacks (diversionary?) North of Izyum, south of Kharkiv around Husarivka. No budging between Slavyansk and Izyum.

6.Ground based launchers.

Remember that Israeli used to launch Shrike from the ground. and it turns out Harm can be treated like Tochka that it can be launched against a pre-determined point. Without requirement of something like Iron hand or elaborate ESM complex.

Most probably it's the awac that do all the job and it's NATO that control launch from the ground until missile get a lock to target... Not sure if it help the situation to get their sam systems down at this point beside passing trough NATO checklist for untested weapons..

I think it's number 2 since there were past claims that Ukraine has received foreign MiGs from Slovakia and Poland and certainly possible that those foreign MiGs could be arm with western armaments
