If anything I think they would have been incredibly shocked.
The Ukraine SSR was one of the Soviet Union's most powerful regions that handled a huge portion of their military strength. This inherited power gave Ukraine a military that is likely one of the best in Europe due to sheer stockpiles even after many years of decay and corruption. That a large bulk of the Union's forces would be used by nazis and fascists would be incredibly hard for most people during that time to believe.
Fascists? Neo nazis? Bandera? Soviets thought that the presence of these people on USSR ground belonged only in the dustbin of history.
Will we see FOAB in action? With Ukrainian order to evacuate all remaining civilians, we could potentially see it's use on the frontline cities as part of escalatory ladder?

Because Russia is well-behaved and acts like this war is not a real war but simply a "special military operation", it doesn't mean that Ukraine has to follow the same idiotic playbook
They look like from the every year exercises with Russia for example tank biathlon.
This is most likely a toy size drone breaking glass windows. what would they do different to make it more effective considering they are still has to take care of population and land.
it is test of both logistic and engineering reliability to maintain such wide front and also rotate. until May they were counting 631 missile from Belarus alone. total may well be several thousands by now.
They reliably launched atleast 25 cruise missiles in an hour.
