Lisichansk is cleared of Kiev regime troops.

With Luhansk oblast wrapped up, next up is Donetsk oblast where president Yanukovych is from. With the new Hermes NLOS missile deployed in combat, Kiev regime troops in Donetsk oblast will be hammered in the coming months. I expect president Yanukovych will become president of DPR or president of Donbas considering he is a former governor of Donetsk oblast.
Wait...so where did all the Ukrainian soldiers go? I thought Lisichansk was going to be a tough town to capture because it was on a hill or something?

And are we to believe that 2,000, 5,000 or whatever number of soldiers people were claiming were garrisoning the town all got killed or captured in one day?

Withdrew to Siversk. What remained of the AFU were few troops in the city to delay the Russians in cleaning up while reorganizing the Siversk-Artemivsk front. Most troops were evacuated a few days ago, but a large contingent that was in Lisichansk withdrew from the city late Thursday night before the multi-directional assault on the city of Lisichansk.

The AFU had an advantage in Lisichansk if the Russians attacked from Severodonetsk, where Lisichansk's superior position under Severodonetsk allows a tactical advantage in the theater of operations, the problem is that the Russians attacked from the south and southwest front and since yesterday, from from the northern axis, Russian troops stationed in Severodonetsk east of Lisichansk only used artillery that were used to hit AFU troops in Lisichansk.

There are still troops in Lisichansk, we don't know the exact number because at the moment they are reconnaissance of the pockets that the AFU created with the remnants left in Lisichansk, but it is possible that the AFU number in Lisichansk at this point in the fall is somewhere between 500 to 2,000 soldiers.

ASB is saying ( 1 min ago) that Russian bombers are taking off, Iskanders taking off and Ukrainian air sirens are ringing across the country. Apparently a lot of Russian jets have just taken off as well.

My guess is pretty accurate for the closing of the Lysychansk-Severodonetsk cauldron but off by 2 or 3 days margin.
I also heard about the ongoing buildup on Kharkov front, seems like the next stage of the operation would be capturing Kharkov

Taking Kharkov is a huge undertaking. My guess would be first capturing Seversk and Bakhmut line, then link up to donesk line. The road will facilitate logistic and reinforcement, and the river can serve as defense line. It will be a very defensible position freeing up troops to encircle Kharkov. It also flanks the main Donetsk frontline putting up pressure there.

« On nous dit que les Russes vont venir ici pour piller, ce qui est possible, mais les soldats ukrainiens stationnés ici font pareil, peste Vitali, un ancien chauffeur et natif de la ville. Qui sommes-nous censés croire ? »
"We are told that the Russians are going to come here to loot, which is possible, but the Ukrainian soldiers stationed here are doing the same," complains Vitali, a former driver and native of the town. Who are we supposed to believe?"
