The latest take from Ukraine BROISNT is that the battles in Severodonetsk and the outskirts of Slaviansk is a holding operation to pin down Russian forces while Ukraine plans a massive offensive into Kherson. Sounds asinine. Makes no sense for Ukrainian forces to launch another big offensive on flat terrain with no air cover. Russia is likely going to cede territory to more defensive positions, then bomb Ukrainian groupings with intense artillery and aerial bombardment then go on the counterattack to surround and wipe out enemy positions. Don’t get the point of another Kherson offensive but whatever.

A new batch of Western weapons has arrived in Ukraine, a trainload of British Warrior MCV-80 armored personnel carriers has been spotted. Serial production of the BMP Warrior MCV-80 began in 1985. The armored vehicle is equipped with a 30 mm L21A1 automatic cannon, with which a 7.62 mm machine gun is paired. The Warrior BMP has a significant drawback - the lack of stabilization of the 30-mm cannon, because of this, it is advisable to fire while stopped. Despite this, Warrior in terms of reliability and survivability has proven itself well in the war in Iraq. Some versions of the armored personnel carrier were equipped with Chobham armor; there is a known case when such armor withstood 12 RPG hits in Iraq, but these versions were not delivered to Ukraine. Now the Warrior MCV-80 is in service with Britain and Kuwait, but is gradually being replaced by the German BMP Boxer. The speed on the highway BTR Warrior 75 km / h, cruising range 500 km. The crew of the BMP is 3 people, the number of soldiers transported is 7.

Any further confirmation of UK sending it's Warrior IFV to Ukraine besides this youtube video?

This has the same energy as Pro-Russian claim that Donbass and Izyum front was actually a diversion and the real offensive is to Nikolaev and link up with Transnistria 1 month ago, anyway, does Ukraine still have reserves to conduct another Kherson offensives? It's worth remembering that Ukraine has tried 3 or 4 times to attack Kherson and without much of a success

Ukraine says Russian peace talks proposals are an attempt to deceive world

Ukrainian peace talks negotiator dismissed Russia’s latest comments about being ready to resume negotiations as “an attempt to deceive the world.”

Mykhailo Podolyak said in an online post on Thursday that Russia wanted to give the impression of being ready to talk while planning to stab Ukraine in the back.

Kyiv would definitely return to the negotiations but only at the right time, he added.

I still think Odessa is on the table here. Considering that Kiev saying “only at the right time” and the pentagon wanting to give more weapons to Ukraine to “improve” their position for future negotiations. Also not to mention the hardliner stance that Ukraine is taking (bombing Donbas, wanting to destroy Crimea bridge etc). I don’t know just how likely Ukraine wants negotations.
