Commercial drones can be easily jammed. Between GPS and the frequency spectrum they use to communicate with the controller there are a lot of ways to block them.
The thing is, they are basically being used as spotters for artillery by both sides. And guess who has the artillery and EW advantage?
That is the reason more active jamming isn't used. From what I understand most jamming is confined to the Russian border.
You can target individual drones using unidirectional devices like the one I posted. Ukraine does have something similar:

Of course these wouldn't as effective against a military drone which could just switch to terrain mapping or INS when being jammed.

Russia has all types of drones with range, altitude and payload they advertised. The problem is numbers. The only really mass produced drones are Orlans. Rest are present and used but not in required numbers. I believe drone production is now being ramped up as much as electronics import allows.
About Donetsk shelling. It is terror tactics. First purpose is to make local population believe Russian army cannot protect them (and make Russians doubt performance of their army since it cannot protect Donetsk). Second - force local militias (and Russian army if they are lucky) to speed up their attempts to capture Avdeevka - more losses for DPR, more chances to hold positions (or loose less) by the time peace signed. Third - make Russia pay more for rebuilding Donetsk. Fourth - scare pro-Russian Ukrainians living in Ukraine-controlled territory into submission. Fifth - show pro- Ukrainian Ukrainians that army is taking revenge on strikes of Ukrainian cities to boost their morale. Sixth - at the same time officially claim Russian army did the shelling to make more Donetsk citizens volunteer into militias - picture for European countries since MSM won't question their claim. Maybe more.

I clearly see a Seventh: Pissing off civilians even more against Ukraine... they have been shelled for the past 8 years in Donetsk, one more is not a big change.

In order to use those jamming guns, you'll have to spot that small drone first. If you try to counter that by constantly scanning the skies with them, you'll deplete their batteries quickly.

Maybe they are successful, I don't know. The main problems with switchblades seems to be range and the numbers provided. A frontline soldier operating a switchblade isn't doing something else. With a longer range you could assign that role to someone behind frontlines.

If they had been successful, we would have seen more videos of the things. Of course, there is also the fact that the warhead isn't particularly big, apparently is about the size of a 40mm grenade.

Kiev crossed all lines, DPR head says in emergency address
Donetsk has requested additional forces from Russia following heavy shelling in the city’s residential areas by Ukrainian troops
Maternity hospital hit amid Ukrainian shelling – DPR
Kiev's forces have attacked civilian areas across Donetsk with heavy artillery, local officials claim

I wonder if this is going to force Russia hand to do something.

Quite the coincidence that all these OSINTbros goes on vacation and not even a day later we hear news of Ukraine shelling children and civilians. Such odd timing.

Maybe it’s an indication that something is about to happen if they are all going on vacation.

As disgusting as it is, it seems like the Ukrainians are trying to make the Russians do a frontal assault on their positions near Donetsk. If the Russians do end up assaulting the entrenched Ukrainian positions it would be stupid for obvious reasons. I feel that they want to clean up Severodonetsk and attack the Slavyansk - Kramatorsk line before going to the Ukrainian forces near Donetsk.
