Most likely another propaganda BS by Ukraine and South Korea as they are good in doing.

Compare the badge from the footage

with badges of Russian military districts.
View attachment 137461

The footage is taken in Russian far east where the Russian-Laos joint excersize is happening right now.

Look at the cap, it is round as baseball cap without rim

North Korean cap is like Chinese cap with a rim and flat top.

Please, after three years of rubish from the western camp, people should have learnt to not to take any of their "news" seriously unless accompanied by concrete evidence. If people dismiss western BS on China, why should people give the west any more credit on NK or any country?
1. Yankee confirms that the people in the two videos are speaking North Korea's Korean, not from Chinese/South Korea.

2. The people in video 2 are already wearing Russian green uniforms, which are not the uniforms of the Korean People's Army, so your point about the wrong hats is moot, because they are already wearing Russian uniforms.

3. Western media reports claim that North Korean troops are training in the Far East, so it is entirely reasonable to see the emblem of the Far East Military District.

4. Things that cannot be determined: Western/South Korean media claim that these people are responsible for combat operations. There is currently no conclusive evidence to prove this. These people may be North Korean engineering/construction troops, tasked with second-line cleanup or construction.

Body exchange:

According to Intel Slava:

"Russia and Ukraine exchanged bodies of fallen soldiers, Ukraine received 501 bodies, Russia received 89 bodies."

Remember that the Russians still inflict a lot of casualties behind the Ukrainian front lines through FAB, missile, artillery and UAV strikes.

95 to 95 prisoners were also exchanged.

Another Orion UAV strike on a Ukrainian tank in the Kursk region.

Kind of amusing the Orions are now doing a Bayraktar over Kursk after the Russians dragged their feet over the introduction of these type of drone for years. Of course, without the hype now that everybody knows how vulnerable these types of drones are.

If you know the history, the Russians had the highly advanced MiG Skat UCAV concept. But then it was never financed properly by the Russian government. And it is not like MiG could fund it out of pocket when their export sales were dysmal.
They did open up a competition in Russia to try to get some working UAV drones. But the competition was a total bust. The drones, of which there were a couple dozen proposals from a load of people working out of their garage, either did not work properly, or they had really crude operator control schemes. So, after many years of hoping that their own Russian drones would get better, in disgust the Russian government got a license for the IAI Searcher drone from Israel. The Russian MIC eventually stepped up its game and now you get drones like the Orion. Which do have proper operator control schemes. But they still had issues with making appropriate engines without depending on imports and the like. Which are being solved.

It would be wild if North Korea supplied troops to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. That would be the first time North Korean troops were placed in combat against peer soldiers in decades. Could be a valuable learning experience for North Korea though.

If the North Koreans are used within Russian borders and not in Ukraine, then they are not used in the invasion of Ukraine. That means they can be deployed in combat operations within the Kursk oblast and that won't be invading Ukraine. Not a single foot past the legit border and not used in any other region except one within Russia.

More 130mm M-46 guns are appearing in the front, thanks to the supply of Iranian and North Korean ammunition. The range of the standard shell is about 27k and rocket assisted 40km. These are for Soviet era shells, not withstanding whatever aerodynamic improvements the Iranians and North Koreans would make on their shells.

The Russians have captured quite a number of MRAPs by now. Is there any evidence that Russian forces have begun using captured MaxxPros etc. themselves yet? I know captured Humvees and M113s have been seen fairly often in use by various Russian forces.
